Professional cable curing is included at no additional charge. Yes = please cure my cable for the recommended 200 hours before shipping. No = please send my cable as soon as it is built.

Takshaka balanced XLRs

The Takshaka XLR interconnects follow the same core Takshaka philosophy. Use the best pure precious metals available. Combine them deliberately. Preserve air around the signal. Control noise without restricting dynamic expression.

Pure silver, pure 24k gold, and high-purity OFHC copper are balanced carefully within the conductor structure. Silver contributes speed and articulation. Gold adds tonal density and harmonic structure. Copper reinforces body and authority. When proportioned correctly, they complement each other rather than compete.

In a balanced XLR topology, stability becomes even more critical. Two signal legs must track each other precisely while rejecting external noise. The Takshaka’s multi-strand architecture is designed to maintain symmetry and composure under dynamic demand, allowing the benefits of balanced transmission to be fully realized.

Our proprietary Hanging Faraday® shielding further isolates the signal path while preserving energy and helping create an exceptionally black background.

The result is dimensional clarity and dynamic expression that feels unforced. The soundstage disappears and becomes a 3D environment instead. Images lock into place. Space opens up. The system breathes easier.

Clearer. Deeper. More controlled. Effortless.

Shielded Without Sacrifice

The Hanging Faraday® Design

Every Takshaka cable incorporates our exclusive Hanging Faraday® shielding concept. A design that protects the signal without affecting the signal.

By floating the shield and grounding it only at the source end, interference is safely shunted away without adding capacitance or contaminating the return path. The result is a quieter background, greater contrast, and preserved transient integrity.

This is shielding designed specifically for high-resolution audio systems. Think of it as a Faraday cage: the shield protects without interfering, preserving pristine signal flow and preventing noise leakage into other nearby components.

Direct Comparison: Shielding Effectiveness

Real-world oscilloscope results clearly demonstrate the power of our proprietary
Hanging Faraday® shielding. Test performed in front of a live audience at a trade show,
using a random cable brought up by an audience member:

Lead Time & Curing

Once your order is in, it goes into the build queue. Refer to the Build Queue indicator on our website for the current turnaround time. Once its turn comes up, we’ll hand-craft your cable and, unless you opt out, run it through a 200-hour curing process before shipping. That means it’s almost fully cured, or "burned in" and ready to perform the moment it hits your system. A little bit of settling time is always suggested, but for the most part, they're ready to go!

Build queue is typically about 8–10 business days, and including curing, most orders ship in about three weeks. But please refer to the Build Queue Indicator for up-to-date reference.

You’ll get automatic email updates from the website throughout the process, including tracking once it ships. If you don't see them, check your 'spam' folder. Be sure to mark these emails as "not spam" to ensure future updates.

Built by Hand, One at a Time

At Snake River Audio, nothing is mass-produced. Every Snake River Audio cable is custom-built from the bare wire, raw materials per order. No shortcuts. No outsourcing. Just real craftsmanship, by me and my team, one cable at a time.

Want a specific length or connector not listed? Shoot me an email, we’ll make it happen.

30-Day Trial. In Your System, On Your Terms

30 Day Trial

I get it, you need (and should) hear it in your room, not some showroom or hotel suite at an audio show. That’s why we offer a 30-day risk-free trial. If you're not blown away, return the cable in like-new condition and get a full refund, (minus shipping and processing fees). Read more details about our return policy here

Less than 3% of our cables are ever returned. In fact, over 40% of our customers come back for more. That says more than I ever could.

Trade-In Program

Got a Snake River Audio cable you want to upgrade from? Let’s make it easy.

We can accept genuine Snake River Audio cables for trade-in. Just contact us first at SnakeRiverAudio@gmail.com. Once received, we’ll evaluate it based on condition, age, and type, and assign a fair trade-in value, usually 50–75% of original retail.

We list used cables at near break-even, so your trade-in value will reflect actual resale (minus payment and shipping fees.)

I am currently working on a process/partnership to be able to accept non-SRA cables as trade-ins. If you have cables that you don't need any more, even other brands, email and let me know what you've got. I'll need make, model, brand, length, terminations, age (if known), and a couple of pictures to be able to give you a close estimated trade-in value.

Please note: During sale periods, trade-ins are discretionary and handled case-by-case.
