Signature Series power cable

The Signature Series Power Cable represents the award-winning foundation of the Snake River Audio design philosophy applied to high-current delivery. Deliberate conductor balance. Disciplined geometry. An uncompromising commitment to stability and musical realism.

This power cable has been winning awards for well over a decade. Shootouts against some of the biggest names in the industry. Cable of the Year recognitions. Editor’s Choice awards. It has earned its reputation honestly, through performance.

The Signature Series combines pure silver, pure 24k gold, and high-purity OFHC copper in carefully refined proportions. Silver contributes speed and clarity. Gold brings tonal weight and harmonic richness. Copper provides drive and foundation. Together, they allow current to flow with authority while preserving composure under dynamic demand.

The conductors are arranged using our proprietary Eddie Twist® geometry, maximizing air around the signal while maintaining mechanical stability along the entire length. The result is controlled energy delivery without hardness or glare.

The Signature Series Power Cable is terminated with our own gold-plated US and IEC connectors, selected for secure mechanical contact and long-term durability. As with all Snake River Audio cables, each power cable is custom built to your specified length.

The Signature Series Power Cable is available in either the standard configuration or the heavier-gauge AMP version, designed specifically for amplifiers, power conditioners, and distribution blocks that demand greater current delivery. The AMP Series maintains the same conductor recipe and design philosophy while increasing conductor mass for high-demand applications.

The result is a system that feels more grounded, more stable, and more effortless. Dynamics expand naturally. Background noise recedes. Music flows with authority and balance.

Stable. Balanced. Proven.

AMP Series

When Current Demand Increases

All types of audio equipment benefit from quality power delivery. Servers, DACs, transports, phono stages, and preamps typically draw relatively consistent and modest amounts of current. For those components, our standard power cable configurations are more than sufficient.

Large power amplifiers are different. During quiet passages, current demand may remain steady. But during dynamic peaks, especially at higher listening levels, current draw can increase significantly and very quickly. When that happens, conductor size matters.

Imagine you are relaxed, sitting in your chair listening to music. You could easily breathe in and out through a drinking straw. But if you get up and start walking up and down stairs, you would need a much larger airway to breathe comfortably and perform properly. The same principle applies to your amplifier. Under higher demand, it needs a larger pathway to move current without restriction.

This is why we developed the AMP Series of power cables. With substantially heavier gauge conductors, approximately 67% more precious metal per inch compared to the standard version, the AMP Series provides increased current capacity for high-demand applications.

Importantly, the conductor recipe and design philosophy remain the same. The tonal balance and overall sound signature do not change. The only difference is increased conductor mass for components that require greater current delivery.

The AMP Series is available in both Signature Series and Cottonmouth Gold recipes. They are physically heavier, mechanically robust, and purpose-built for amplifiers, large power conditioners, and distribution blocks where current demand is higher.

Lead Time & Curing

Once your order is in, it goes into the build queue. Refer to the Build Queue indicator on our website for the current turnaround time. Once its turn comes up, we’ll hand-craft your cable and, unless you opt out, run it through a 200-hour curing process before shipping. That means it’s almost fully cured, or "burned in" and ready to perform the moment it hits your system. A little bit of settling time is always suggested, but for the most part, they're ready to go!

Build queue is typically about 8–10 business days, and including curing, most orders ship in about three weeks. But please refer to the Build Queue Indicator for up-to-date reference.

You’ll get automatic email updates from the website throughout the process, including tracking once it ships. If you don't see them, check your 'spam' folder. Be sure to mark these emails as "not spam" to ensure future updates.

Built by Hand, One at a Time

At Snake River Audio, nothing is mass-produced. Every Snake River Audio cable is custom-built from the bare wire, raw materials per order. No shortcuts. No outsourcing. Just real craftsmanship, by me and my team, one cable at a time.

Want a specific length or connector not listed? Shoot me an email, we’ll make it happen.

30-Day Trial. In Your System, On Your Terms

30 Day Trial

I get it, you need (and should) hear it in your room, not some showroom or hotel suite at an audio show. That’s why we offer a 30-day risk-free trial. If you're not blown away, return the cable in like-new condition and get a full refund, (minus shipping and processing fees). Read more details about our return policy here.

Less than 3% of our cables are ever returned. In fact, over 40% of our customers come back for more. That says more than I ever could.

Trade-In Program

Got a Snake River Audio cable you want to upgrade from? Let’s make it easy.

We can accept genuine Snake River Audio cables for trade-in. Just contact us first at SnakeRiverAudio@gmail.com. Once received, we’ll evaluate it based on condition, age, and type, and assign a fair trade-in value, usually 50–75% of original retail.

We list used cables at near break-even, so your trade-in value will reflect actual resale (minus payment and shipping fees.)

I am currently working on a process/partnership to be able to accept non-SRA cables as trade-ins. If you have cables that you don't need any more, even other brands, email and let me know what you've got. I'll need make, model, brand, length, terminations, age (if known), and a couple of pictures to be able to give you a close estimated trade-in value.

Please note: During sale periods, trade-ins are discretionary and handled case-by-case.
