Trade-In Policy

  We’re happy to offer trade-in credit for both genuine Snake River Audio cables and select cables from other manufacturers. All trade-ins must be pre-approved, so please contact us at SnakeRiverAudio@gmail.com before shipping anything.

 

Snake River Audio Cables

We gladly accept trade-ins of original Snake River Audio cables.
  • Only genuine Snake River Audio cables can be directly accepted and resold through our website.
  • Trade-in value is assessed after we receive and evaluate the cable.
  • Used cables are typically valued at 50–75% of original retail, depending on:
    • Age
    • Condition
    • Cable type and connectors
We do not profit from trade-ins. The value offered is based on what we expect to list the cable for in our used inventory — minus current shipping/handling costs, plus ~4% to cover payment processing fees. Note: Trade-in offers during promotional or sale periods are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

Cables from Other Manufacturers

While we don’t directly sell other brands, we may accept third-party cables on trade, utilizing a third-party outside channel. To inquire, please email us with the following details:
  • Brands and models of the cables you wish to trade in
  • Length and connector type for each cable
  • Condition (including any known defects or modifications)
  • Clear photos of the cable
  • Whether original packaging will be included
We aim to respond within 3–4 business days with an estimated trade-in value. Again, we do not profit from trade-ins — credit is based on exactly what the third-party reseller indicates, minus current shipping costs to forward the cables to them. As with Snake River Audio cables, trade-ins during sale periods are handled at our discretion.
