Since 2009, we have been building some of audio's best quality high-fidelity audio cables. From interconnects and speaker cables, to power cables and inventing radical new designs to digital cables.
One day, we had the profound thought that, if we could design great cables for playing music OUT of a system, what about cables for playing IN to a system??
Using the foundation of our pure 24k Gold and .999 pure silver Signature Series wiring, we set out to create our proAudio lineup. This process took A LOT of work. But with hard work, out of many failures will come success.
Of course, once we got the cable designed, we had to research and find a cool poisonous snake out there to name our cables after!
The Jararaca ("Jaw-Raw-ROCK-ya)") is a pit viper from South America, and can grow over 5 feet long. In Brazil, it was responsible for over half of the reported snake bites, but rarely fatal. But, to be honest, we just liked saying the name! Repeat after me, Jaw-Raw ROCK-YA!
Once we got the cable designed in both a guitar cable and pedal patch cable design, we sent it out to some friends for testing. Not just any friends, mind you, but the professionals and experts who know the importance of quality equipment. Instanty, they could hear the difference the Jararaca made. Comments like, "incredibly open", "amazing sound", and "the tone is exquisite" came back to us, and we knew we were onto something good.
Granted, the Jararacas cost a bit more than your average guitar cable. That high quality precious metal material that makes your axe sound so good isn't cheap, trust me. But your average guitar cable manufacturer cares more about mass-producing their own profit margin, not about helping you create the best sound possible, and isn't made with 24k gold and pure silver either (trying finding that in your monsterous cables).
Try one out, we dare ya. You'll find nothing better than a Jararaca with you in the studio, or on the stage!
